What you will need to make your paracord bracelet: 10 ft. of paracord; the rule of thumb is to use one foot for every inch of your wrist (standard wrist size is 8″). Using 10 feet of cord will ensure that you have enough for the bracelet ends, and will give you a more comfortable fit.
How to make a paracord keychain?
Getting Started. Take your first two strands of paracord and intersect them at the centers to form a cross.
Loop the Paracord. Take the ends of the horizontal (P1) cord and cross each strand over the vertical cord (P2) to form an “S” shape.

Choose your color (s) You can use one or two colors to make your bracelet.
Measure your wrist Wrap a length of paracord around your wrist,noting where the end hits the cord. Measure the length with a ruler. Ours measured 7.5 inches.
Measure out cord If you are using one color for your bracelet,multiply the number of inches in Step 2 (your wrist circumference) by 12.
Attach paracord to buckle If you’re using two colors,you’ll first need to join the two lengths of cord together.
Determine bracelet length Thread the dangling free ends of the cord through the other buckle piece.
Weave the main bracelet Now you will weave the body of the bracelet using cobra stitch.
Finish Once you’ve completed the body of the bracelet,trim the ends of the extra cord to about half an inch.
