What is rail card used for?
Railcards allow you to save up to 33% off most rail fares, including discounts on Advance Purchase tickets. There are eight different railcards available. Can mature students get a railcard?
A: People who are older than 25 years of age can only buy and use a Railcard if they are in full time study. We therefore require mature students to demonstrate that they are still in full time education each time they buy or renew a Railcard.
Who is eligible for Railcard?

Can you get a Railcard instantly?
In most cases, your digital 16-25 Railcard will be available to use straight away. Mature students who want a 16-25 Railcard will have to wait a little longer, as these applications are checked manually. Please allow up to 5 working days for your Railcard application to be reviewed.
How do you qualify for a Railcard?
Can I get a railcard if I’m over 30?
To be eligible for the 26-30 Railcard you must be between 26 and 30 years old. You can buy a 26-30 Railcard any time before your 31st birthday and keep using it for a whole year, until its expiry date. The 26-30 Railcard is available to buy online, in digital format only.
Can I get a student railcard if im over 30?
If you are aged 26-30 years old and still in full-time education, you can choose whether to buy a 26-30 Railcard, or buy a 16-25 Railcard as a mature student. Mature students who are over the age of 30, can only choose the 16-25 Railcard option and apply as a mature student.

Can Zip card is free to train?
You must apply in advance and online for a Zip Oyster card. Children under five can travel free at any time on the Tube, Docklands Light Railway (DLR), buses, trams and London Overground, as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.
Can we purchase train tickets in a train?
